This Privacy Policy describes how Oddly Declassified ("we", "us") handles information in connection with this website (oddlydeclassified.jacobko.app) and the Oddly Declassified Uploader, an internal tool used to publish videos to the Oddly Declassified YouTube channel (formerly Career Math).
1. Who we are
Oddly Declassified is a YouTube channel operated by an individual creator. The Uploader is a private, single-operator application. It is not offered to the public and is used only by the channel owner.
2. This website
This website is static and does not use cookies, analytics, tracking pixels, or contact forms. We do not collect any personal information from visitors.
3. The Uploader and Google user data
The Uploader uses the YouTube Data API to publish videos, captions and metadata to the channel owner's own YouTube channel. It requests these Google OAuth scopes:
youtube.upload— to upload videos to the owner's channelyoutube.force-ssl— to upload captions and manage video metadatayoutube— to manage playlists and read the owner's channel statistics
The only Google account that authorizes this application is the channel owner's account. It does not access, collect or store data from any other Google user.
4. How Google user data is used
Data accessed through the YouTube Data API is used solely to upload the channel's own videos, captions, thumbnails and playlists, and to read the channel's own view statistics for a private weekly report. It is not used for advertising, profiling, or any unrelated purpose.
5. Storage and sharing
OAuth tokens are stored locally on the operator's own computer and are not transmitted to any third party. We do not sell, rent or share Google user data, except as required by law.
6. Limited Use disclosure
Oddly Declassified's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy (https://developers.google.com/terms/api-services-user-data-policy), including the Limited Use requirements.
7. Data retention and deletion
Tokens remain on the operator's machine until revoked. Access can be revoked at any time at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions.
8. Children
This website and the Uploader are not directed at children under 13 and do not knowingly collect information from them.
9. Changes
We may update this policy. The "Last updated" date above will change.
